Walking Until the Break of Dawn — Guang Wang, Xingqi Chen

The road is under my feet, and I measure its distance.

The dawn is both ending and prologue.

Chen Xingqi is a filmmaker and photographer based in China whose work explores dance through cinematography and moving image. A graduate of Sichuan Normal University with a degree in choreography, he currently works as a photographer at Tang Juezhi Studio. His dance films have screened at Guangdong Modern Dance Week, the Beijing International Film Festival, the China Dancers Association’s Dance & Digital Possibilities program, and numerous national dance video exhibitions. His work has received recognition for its innovative integration of dance, digital media, and visual storytelling.

Wang Guang is a choreographer, performer, and dance educator based in China. He graduated from Jiangsu Normal University with a degree in choreography and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Dance Education at Northeast Normal University. Wang has received awards for his choreography and solo performance and has participated in major national dance productions, including projects with the China Dancers Association, Top Dancers Gala, and CCTV Spring Festival Gala for Overseas Chinese. His work combines choreography, performance, and dance video creation, with a focus on contemporary movement and cultural storytelling. Through both live performance and screen-based work, Wang explores the relationship between movement, landscape, and contemporary visual storytelling.
