Women of Water — Editta Braun

Editta Braun is a pioneering Austrian choreographer, director, and educator whose interdisciplinary practice spans contemporary dance, physical theatre, and experimental film. Following studies in sports science, German literature, and dance in Paris and New York, she founded editta braun company, creating more than thirty productions that have toured internationally. Her work is recognized for its feminist perspective, intercultural collaborations, and politically engaged approach to performance.
Since 2020, Braun has expanded her practice into experimental short films, including LUVOS migrations, Women of Water, and Women of Earth. A recipient of numerous international honors for both stage and screen, she continues to explore new relationships between movement, image, and the body through choreography and film.
